there are some EQ options but I'm going to go ahead and say that there's not really much that you can tell the difference between switching in the different EQ options or even going in and customizing the EQ settings the way that you want
battery life is also pretty good I'm not one to test out how long I can wear a pair of headphones before they run out of battery but I have worn these for an entire day and they were perfectly fine you get up to 7 and 1 half hours of playtime or up to 4 and a half hours with immersive audio on and if you include the charging case you're looking at an an extra 19 and 1/2 hours of battery life charging only takes about an hour to get them back to full the Bose app is okay and I think I'm being very generous when I say that partly because there's only very few sound presets that you can use and customization isn't really allowed but mostly because the app consistently crashes on me that I've simply decided to just leave everything on default the good news is out of the box they already sound good but once again I want to remind you that with the physical limitations of an open ear design you're not really getting top tier sound quality but it's still very good
these earbuds took 45 minutes to update right out of the box so you'll want to time that out accordingly
